| Our garden center is an exciting time from spring through fall with
new products coming on as each season progresses. Plant flats, potting
soil, seeds and heating mats start the pre-season rush. Grass seed can
be planted as soon as the frost is out of the grounds. Our greenhouse
soon becomes packed with plants and flowers to beautify your yard. We
carry the Chef Jeff's line of vegetable plants including a wide
selection of heirloom plants. All your plants can be fertilized with
Monty's Joy Juice, an economical, all natural foliar plant food.
If you have questions about flowers, trees, shrubs or grass, bring in
a sample for problem identification and solutions. |

Soil Testing
Soils are the foundation for most plants. Plants grow based on the nutrient levels of the soil. Soil tests are necessary to make accurate fertilizer recommendations for lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs. Martin's will send soil samples to a professional testing laboratory for accurate results and recommendations. To get a good sample, gather at least six samples from the different areas to be tested and mix them together. Bring in about a soup can full of soil. When the soil test results come back, we will help you understand the result and how to amend your soil.
